ARB Meeting October 13, 2009

Attendees:

Doug Knoche, Leonard Neely, Mark Macdonald, Mike Guarino.

Meeting Minutes:

1. The meeting was called to order.
2. Previous minutes were reviewed
3. Motion was presented to approve the minutes. Oral vote was called and received unanimous approval.

Old Business:

• Plaseied parking issue on grass: Fairfax County investigated the situation and took action. Violations were issued by the county for operating a rooming house, multiple occupancy, multiple dwelling, and outdoor storage. Owner began improvements to bring property into compliance and placed at least portions on the market for sale.

New Business:

Two applications were presented for the same address that had been received since the last meeting and forwarded by the management company.

Adress 1: 12224 Ox Hill Road – removal of 4 trees. One is diseased; two others were located to close together, and one small tree near driveway. Professional Arborists opinion was consulted by owner and trees were recommended to be removed. Large bush in front of house to be replaced by grass, Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Mark MacDonald, Seconded by Leonard Neely. Application is approved.

No additional new business was presented.

Motion was made by Mark Macdonald and seconded by Leonard Neely to adjourn.
