ARB Meeting June 16, 2009

 

Attendees:

Doug Knoche, Art Treiber, Dana Nowack, Mike Guarino

 

Meeting Minutes:

  1. The meeting was called to order.
  2. Previous minutes were reviewed.
  3. Motion was presented to approve and 2nd the minutes.  Oral vote was called and received unanimous approval.

 

Old Business:

-       FORA landscaping

-       12330 Washington Brice vehicles

-       12406 Ox Hill lawn status

-       12501 Alexander Cornell – trampoline status

-       3800 Lt. Nichols

-       Plaseied parking

 

New Business:

 

Eight applications were presented that had been received since the last meeting and forwarded by the management company.

 

Application 1 - A:  12311 Ox Hill Road– Add egress window, replace dinning room window with bay window, and upstairs bathroom window.  Replace remaining house windows but not frame.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Dana Nowack, Seconded by Art Treiber, application is approved.

 

Application 1 - B:  12311 Ox Hill Road –Add 13Õ8Ó x 12Õ8Ó extension onto kitchen and remove existing deck.  Construct new 16Õ8Ó x 16Õ deck off back left corner of house.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Mike Guarino, application is approved.

 

Application 1 - C:  12311 Ox Hill Road - Remove overgrown tree and scrubs from front of house.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Mike Guarino, application is approved.

 

Application 2:  12453 Lt. Nichols Road – Remove maple tree from yard.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Mike Guarino, application is approved.

 

Application 3:  3823 Charles Stewart – Replace siding on house.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Dana Nowack, Seconded by Art Treiber.  Application is approved.

 

Application 4:  12546 Lt. Nichols – Request to make landscaping improvements.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Mike Guarino, Seconded by Art Treiber.  Application is approved.

 

Application 5:  12504 Lt. Nichols Road:  Replace existing 4Õ fence.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Dana Nowack.  Application is approved.

 

Application 6:  3801 Reuben Simpson – Build new walkway on top of existing concrete.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Art, Seconded by Mike Guarino.  Application is approved.

 

Application 7:  12505 Alexander Cornell – Remove existing deck and replace with new deck and screened in porch.  The Chair received the motion to approve by Dana Nowack, Seconded by Doug Knoche.  Application is approved.

 

Application 8:  3704 Brice Ford Ct – Driveway addition.  Application disapproved pending submission of a permit from VDOT approving modifications to existing state maintained apron and sidewalk.  The Chair, Doug Knoche made the motion to disapprove, Seconded by Dana Nowack.  All voted in favor to disapprove application.  

 

No additional new business was presented.

 

Motion was made by Art Treiber, Seconded by Dana Nowack to adjourn meeting.

 

Meeting closed at 8:45 pm.
