ARB Meeting July 14, 2009

Attendees:

Doug Knoche, Leonard Neely, Dana Nowack, Mike Guarino, and Art Treiber,

Meeting Minutes:

1. The meeting was called to order.
2. Previous minutes were reviewed.
3. Motion was presented to approve the minutes. Oral vote was called and received unanimous approval

Old Business:

Five Items were discussed:

• FORA landscaping: Pending work will be completed by August 1^st, 2009.
• Washington Brice Vehicle: item was resolved.
• Trampoline on common Property: Equipment was moved to home owner’s property.
• 3800 Lt. Nichols - Under review by Fairfax County.
• Plaseied parking issue on grass: Under review by Fairfax County.

New Business:

Three applications were presented that had been received since the last meeting and forwarded by the management company.

Application 1: 12503 Alexander Cornell Drive – Swing Set – Request to put up a swing set in backyard of residence. No landscape alterations were part of the application and item will be located on existing grass. Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Mike Guarino. Application is approved.

Application 2: 3812 Ruben Simpson – Walkway and Patio – Addition of a walkway from side fence to yard with a small patio at the end. Additionally, add a back patio outside of the basement door. Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Art Treiber, Seconded by Dana Nowack. Application is approved.

Application 3: 3704 Brices Ford – Drive Way extension Patio – Expansion of driveway in front yard. Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Leonard Neely, Seconded by Dana Nowack. Application is approved.

Recent activity in the neighbor was discussed.

12490 Alexander Cornell – trailer reported parked in front of residence. Spoke with homeowner and it will be removed by July 20^th.

No additional new business was presented.

Motion was made by Leonard Neely and seconded by Art Treiber to adjourn.
