ARB Meeting February 16, 2010

 

Attendees:

Doug Knoche, Leonard Neely, Dana Nowack, Mike Guarino, and Art Treiber.

Meeting Minutes:

  1. The meeting was called to order.
  2. Previous minutes were reviewed
  3. Motion was presented to approve the minutes. Oral vote was called and received unanimous approval.

 

 

New Business:

 

Three applications were presented for the same address that had been received since the last meeting and forwarded by the management company.  

 

12327 Washington Brice                      3 story addition to home

12407 Stewarts Ford Ct.                      Addition of two egress windows

12417 Ox Hill Road                             Swing and Play set

 

Address 1:  12327 Washington Brice – 3 story addition to a Danbury Model home on the back behind the garage.  Application was discussed. Applicant presented application. Objecting parties presented objections detailing sight lines, lighting, privacy, and water drainage.  The Chair received a motion to table the application for site visits and further consideration by Art Treiber and seconded by Michael, Application was deferred till the next meeting.

 

Address 2:  12407 Stewarts Ford Ct. – Addition of two egress windows. Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Dana Nowack, Seconded by Art Treiber. Application is approved.

 

Address 3:  12417 Ox Hill Road – Addition of Creative Swing/Play set. Application was discussed. The Chair received a motion to approve by Dana Nowack, Seconded by Leonard Neely. Application is approved.

 

 

 

 

Additional New Business Items:

 

Resident had requested a review of a pipe stem and review of existing site plans. Resident failed to show. Item will be closed until a request for a future review is received.

 

 

Selection of New ARB officers for next term. 

 

Art Treiber moved that Andy Manley be thanked for his service and request to step down from ARB given his ability to attend meetings.  Mike Guarino seconded the motion. Motion approved.

 

Art Treiber made a motion that Doug Knoche serve as ARB President. Dana Nowack seconded the motion. Motion approved.

 

Art Treiber made a motion that Mike Guarino serve as ARB Vice-President. Leonard Neely seconded the motion. Motion approved.

 

Dana Nowack made a motion that Leonard Neely serve as ARB Secretary.  Mike Guarino seconded the motion. Motion approved.

 

ARB Members for next year: Doug Knoche, Leonard Neely, Dana Nowack, Mike Guarino, Mark McDonald, and Art Treiber.

 

No additional new business was presented.

 

Motion was made by Mike Guarino and seconded by Leonard Neely to adjourn.

 

Next meeting will be held on March 16th, 2009 at 7:30 PM at 12549 Lt. Nichols Road – Fairfax, Va.
