WHAT'S NEW:
There is a new Sully District Newsletter That contains items of
interest, such as the origin of the explosions heard in our neighborhood on
March 3rd. You can access this newsletter at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/sully/newsletter.htm
The March 2010 issue of The Acorn has been posted. The format for this
month is in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf). With the exception of some deletions (e.g. Telephone numbers
and ads) it is the same as the print edition you received in the mail.

The Board of Directors Meeting Minutes for JANUARY 2010 have been posted.
The next meeting of the ARB is scheduled for 7:30 PM on MARCH 16, 2010 at 12549 LT NICHOLS ROAD
to consider applications submitted at least seven days prior to the meeting. Anyone interested in volunteering to join the
ARB please contact Jan Fenton at the address in the Contacts section.
The results of a November 2009 Study of traffic speeds on Charles Stewart
and Ox Hill have been posted (See the Acorn "Board of Directors" article in the January Issue).
The Annual Meeting was held on November 18 at Navy Elementary School.
Since the Special Meeting on May 18 did not achieve the
75% participation required for a quorum to vote on modifying the Articles of Incorporation or the
Covenants and Declarations, a vote on the Articles of Incorporation was the prime topic at the Annual Meeting. The changes to the Declarations and Covenants will be reviewed and
submitted for consideration at a later date.
